About this Project
At the end of last year, the CS Windows team completed this exciting modern home interior project on a property in Barton Hills. The client was extending their home with an open plan dining room and living area, built by Mortimer Construction. With the new space built into the client’s garden, they wanted something special that would be the perfect transition between outdoor and indoor.
With the extension being a single storey, the weight of the roof was considered during the build to allow for the installation of stunning aluminium bi-fold doors on two adjoining walls to create an incredible corner bi-fold door unit. The doors open up one whole corner of the room, allowing for air and sunlight to flow freely through the new space. The CS Windows team installed these bi-folds doors in Luton, ensuring the doors were installed in such a way that made access in and out of the home extremely accessible for the client while maintaining maximum security and warmth.
To ensure light was dispersed throughout the entire room, the CS Windows team also installed two Velux windows into the roof of the parallel side of the build. The complete extension is a terrific addition to the home, modernising the house and will undoubtedly add value and appeal.
