About This Project
Having specialised in door installations for many years, we have completed tonnes of projects for clients, but there are a few that stand out from the crowd. This particular installation completed just last week is most definitely one that we could never forget – in fact, we think it’s one of the best that we have done!
Our client contacted us as they were interested in our front doors in Harpenden, but the entrance of their home had a less conventional layout. As opposed to being fitted flush against the brickwork, the front door was part of a small glazed porch-like installation that had a similar shape to a bay window. Although all of our projects begin with a site survey, for this particular installation, we ensured that we allowed plenty of time to take measurements and discuss options with the client. Their final choice was a composite door from our supplier, Solidor, in a natural wood finish. The door would be complete with a black handle, letterbox and frame around both the front door and the panes of glass, which would be frosted for added privacy.
At a time and date agreed with the client, we visited their home to replace their entire entrance door, including the glazed panes. Although this was a tricky installation, the skills and planning of our team meant that the fit was spot on. The installation was super neat, and our client is thrilled with their new front door, so a huge well done to our team!
